WardrobeAI ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application (the "App").
By using WardrobeAI, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you disagree, please discontinue use of the App.
2. Data We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Email address (used for authentication)
- Password (stored as a secure hash — never in plain text)
- Display name (optional)
Wardrobe & Outfit Data
To provide core app functionality, we store:
- Photos of clothing items you upload
- Clothing metadata (category, color, brand, notes)
- Outfits you create from your wardrobe items
- AI-generated outfit cover images
Usage Data
We may collect anonymous usage analytics such as feature interactions, crash reports, and performance metrics to improve the App. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the App
- Authenticate your identity and secure your account
- Store and display your wardrobe and outfit data across devices
- Generate AI-powered outfit images and style recommendations
- Respond to your support inquiries
- Improve app performance and user experience
🔒 We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your photos or wardrobe data for advertising purposes.
4. Third-Party Services
WardrobeAI uses the following third-party services to operate:
Supabase
We use Supabase as our backend infrastructure provider for database storage, authentication, and file storage. Your account data, wardrobe photos, and outfit data are stored in Supabase. Supabase complies with GDPR and is SOC 2 Type 2 certified.
Google AI (Gemini)
We use Google's Gemini AI to generate outfit cover images and power the AI stylist chat. Photos you submit for AI generation are processed by Google's API. Google does not use these images to train their models by default.
Apple
The App is distributed via the Apple App Store. Apple may collect analytics and crash data under their own Privacy Policy. In-app purchases are processed by Apple.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase, hosted on AWS infrastructure. We implement the following security measures:
- All data is encrypted in transit using TLS/HTTPS
- Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms
- Row-level security ensures you can only access your own data
- Photos are stored in private, access-controlled storage buckets
While we use commercially reasonable security practices, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance reasons.

7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access – Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you

8. Children's Privacy
WardrobeAI is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, through an in-app notification. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
